Enthusiast or perplex, hypnotized or puzzled, entertained or bored, Lynch fan or Lynch agnostic, you can read here what other site visitors from all over the world have to say about the "Black Lodge". And, of course, you can post your own say by filling the form in the "submit" section (allow a few days for your comment to be added) !

Since this site is an Art project focused on moods and visuals rather than on informative content, your opinion is extremely valuable. The point of this web site was to make something original out of HTML and multimedia content : to make the web site *be* the experience itself rather than being *about* an experience - as is often the case with web sites.

Therefore, what *you* felt and thought while browsing this "Black Lodge" is the very substance of it. This is what makes this guestbook all the more important, to me in particular.

I discovered "Twin Peaks" much later than most , I was a generation too young to ever really understand it until long after it aired. Thus my fandom with the show unfortunately comes long after most fan sites died down.

That said, my obsession with the show led me to this place, and I have to say, it is seriously underrepresented in the fan community [bitter note of the author : I actually agree] because this is one of the coolest fan sites I've ever come across, Twin Peaks or otherwise.

I'm a (wannabe) game designer and programmer and I have some degree of experience with 3D modeling and computer animation. After developing my initial idea for a Twin Peaks fan game, I stumbled onto this site, and it's really inspired me.

Thanks so much !

My God ! HALLELUJAH !

When I found a link for this site in Wiki I couldn't predict how GOOD it was going to be ! It was like I was getting into MY OWN WORLD without any wish to get out !

I love the scare that maestro David makes and I want to feel it over and over again, without end ! I've got all the movies made by this insane genius and the most adoreable is Twin Peaks, sure ! I first saw it about  11 years ago and since then my soul lives there !

I've dreamed about visiting this strange magnetic place for years and now my dream has come true...

You can no doubt I'll come here many times again ! THANK YOU FOR FULFILLING MY CRAZIEST WISH IN A LIFETIME ! Laura, I'm MAD about you !

Your site is as dark and lovely as anything I have ever seen, please know that I appreciate your time and effort in creating such an immersive and honest homage to Mr. Lynch's works...

I feel certain that no other tribute could ever be as true, or as finely conceived and executed.

Thank you,

Lance

Beautiful and amazing site.

I have seen all the films referenced in this page and I think it really captures some of the mystery and weirdness of Lynch's work.

Well done indeed.

I found your site years ago, and I still come over and wander through it. I've spent hours and hours on this truly innovative and inspiring atmospheric experience. I'll be looking forward to (hopefully) more/new paths of Lynch movies added.

And, oh, I really liked Inland Empire a LOT !

Keep up the good work.

This sure was an amazing and terrifying experience, just like watching one of Lynch's films ! I really enjoyed walking around inside the Black Lodge, as Dale Cooper said : "All in all, an interesting experience."

Oh, and the first time BOB apeared to me, I was totally creeped out ! Amazing site this is !

This has easily become one of my favorite websites.

I also loved the 'choose your own adventure' books as a kid, and this site mixes that sense of innocent mystery with Mr. Lynch's more conflicted fascination with both the dark and light aspects of the unknown.

Thank you so much.

Probably the best David Lynch website on the net.

Beautiful and marvellous. The best Lynch site I have ever seen and the best site at all !!!

The first Lynch's film I've seen was Twin Peaks (the series). I was about ten or twelve then and although I was terrified when BOB was on the screen I just had to watch it on and on. It was hypnotising. And so is this site.

Thank you for bringin' me back to the Black Lodge !

I have been visiting this site on and off for years, from the early age of being an impressionable teen. But this site got into my soul, and always draws me back [the author : this actually moves me a lot].

Always an adventure, you have a work of art on your hands.

Good luck in all that you do.

This is one of the most amazing sites I have ever clicked through. Being a David Lynch fan, I get absolutely what you are doing...

Thanks for helping me figure out how to disable my pop-up blocker.

I am a filmmaker myself and have put together a short film about Mr. Lynch and the possibility of him making RETURN OF THE JEDI... one of my favorite bits of Hollywood lore.

If anybody would like to see it, the permalink is :

This site is a work of pure genius ! Love it !

Haven't seen Frank Booth yet though, is he around ? [the author : yes he is, choose the "Blue Velvet" gate on the Madison TV at the beginning by pushing the buttons - he's even in the "Fire Walk with Me" night club]

HI - like the site ! Very atmospheric.

I've just quit the David Lynch official board.

I couldn't get much to function on it, and the message board had too many people trying to be 'odd' and unreal, and sort of unfriendly, which came as a bit of a shock to me, given Mr Lynch's spiritual nature [the author : this doesn't surprise me].

Awesome site, well-thought out and impeccably designed.

I've been nuts about Twin Peaks since I saw it aged 14, I'm now 23 and I'm still discussing it with mates like it was on the TV yesterday.

Loved the Red Room section, the pop-ups work beautifully - my only qualm is... can't you attach sound files to the LMFAP [the author : actually I've tried, but it doesn't work very well, mostly because of background sounds] ? The subtitles work well enough and the sound design for the rest of the site is perfect - it's my only criticism.

Thanks again for such an entertaining site,

Cheers,

Pat

I stumbled across this site whilst analysing fan behaviour for a recent University project.

I have to say this is one of the finest pieces of web design I have seen in a long time. I love all things Lynch and this site not only informs it educates and entertains.

I had hours of fun browsing the various sections, in fact I nearly missed my hand in deadline !

I've always been both frightened and fascinated by the figure and works of David Lynch, I must say "Twin Peaks" changed my "little good home-and-church girl" life and perspective into a personal infernal playground where I could find the subjects and material to give my fantasies a body.

I love to call the experience a sort of homeopathetic exorcism.

What to say about the site ? It's quite a perfect immersion into the inner part of my nightmares... I simply adore it and will suggest to anybody loves Lynch and unpredictable trips into the "dark side of fairytales" !

I can't tell...

Was it a dream ?

I think I was dreaming of this strange site. A recursive dream, and I couldn't get in the end of it. I couldn't control it, no one can... I was trying though.

There is something else... I couldn't remember waking up. Am I dreaming now ? What is real ? What... where... What is real ? That fire...

It is incredible to feel like you are in the Black Lodge. That is the place where you perhaps think about your existence in this world.

There is wonderful atmosphere in this site. I wish there were more sites like this.

Perhaps TP is the best creation of David Lynch and it will forever stay in my heart.

Salut,

Bonne continuation !
